‘a mix of the crunch of Hell Is For Heroes and the fire of Serafin - LOGO

‘pure genius’ – Lazyfuck.co.uk
Noxious formed in March of 2003 and immediately began tearing their way through
the local music scene, astounding crowds at venues such as Heroes and the Crypt
in Hastings, the Dolphin in Eastbourne, the Hobgoblin in Brighton and the Tunbridge
Wells Forum.
With influences ranging from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rush and Queen to more
modern tastes such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Queens Of The Stone Age, Noxious’
sound is something truly unique, blending classic rock riffs with a hard modern
edge that borrows as much from the current US rock and metal scenes as the UK
underground garage rock scene.
They spend time crafting and constructing catchy, even noisy rock songs, using
stomping rock riffs, poppy hooks and beautiful melodies. Luke Ford and Will
Shearer create an unbeatable rhythmic foundation for the wild and violent guitar
howls and unrestrained vocals of Joe Green and the emotional honest, heartrending
vocals and choppy riffs of Lee Verralls.
This band has to be seen live to appreciate the sheer energy and excitement
they are capable of projecting. After a night with Noxious you will emerge a
true believer in the power of Rock
and Roll!
